Referral Program
At West Coast Optical, we appreciate every referral. We’re grateful for everybody that thinks highly enough of us to mention us to their friends and family.
As a thank you, we offer a generous referral program. Refer a friend or family member to us, and if they purchase eyewear, you will receive a $25 in-store credit towards your next purchase.
The program is easy—all the new customer has to do is mention your name, and we’ll take care of the rest. Thank you for shopping local!
Insurance Information
We accept direct payments and work with a number of insurance companies. If you don’t see your insurer on this list, please give our friendly staff a call for assistance.
Using NIHB For Your Eye Care
Accessing proper eye care should be easy—that’s why we’re happy to accept Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) for First Nations and Inuit populations.
Our team at West Coast Optical is here to ensure you receive high-quality eye care when you need it.
If you are covered by NIHB, your insurance includes partial coverage for:
- Comprehensive eye exams
- Necessary follow-up visits
- Testing when recommended
- Prescribed corrective eyewear (glasses, contact lenses)
- Replacement lenses and repairs
NIHB provides coverage for benefits that aren’t available under federal, provincial, territorial, or private health insurance.
